Bed & Bordeaux #384 [1]
Beautiful house for the holidays
Reviewed on 2025-01-26 by , BONNEY LAKE, WA United StatesWe stayed here with our 3 kids over the week of Christmas and couldn't have been happier.

The main living area is gorgeous and roomy. It was perfect to spend our days lounging together, cooking, playing games, etc. I loved the coffee and wine bar area and the kitchen is amazing. It had everything we needed and more. I made countless feasts while we were there.
The view is extraordinary from that top level.

Our kids are all pre-teens and it was really nice that they all had their own bathrooms. They loved having the game room for their video games. The primary bedroom is also really nice. We liked that there was a private deck and hot tub, but that was hard to tell it was like that from the photos. Just know that folks have to go through the primary to use the hot tub.

I could see this rental working really well for a multigenerational family, people with older kids, or a couples' trip.

We have come to The Lookout many times now and stayed at several houses. This was by far the most luxe. Some reviews have mentioned noise throughout the house and from construction. We had a problem with neither and find the whole community to be very relaxing.
Lovely home if not for the active construction next door...
Reviewed on 2024-08-26 by Heather T. , Bothell, WA United StatesThe home was beautiful, spacious and clean with the exception of the garage flooring which seems to make your feet black and then consequently everything else your feet touch.
If we had stayed in this home during a time when there was not active construction going on it probably would have been a better experience but the construction workers right next to us did not abide by construction hours so we had a few evenings with rather unpleasant dinners due to the noise. And in general the noise was pretty unbearable for most of our stay.
And as some other reviewers have mentioned the home is not very well soundproofed so you can pretty much hear everything from room to room which made for less than ideal sleeping conditions even though the beds were gloriously comfortable.

Stay During Construction
Reviewed on 2024-06-11 by Cindy W. , Spokane, WA United StatesWe stayed here while a foundation was being put in next door. Construction started at 7:00 and was very loud. There were two bobcat tractors being used which continually blocked us in the garage and one was even parked outside our front door. I brought my mother in a walker to the home and the bobcat made it hard to get to front steps. We rented the home and it said no street parking but you should be able to park by front door for access when using the home you rented. In my opinion this home should not be rented while this contruction is going on next door. A website that says construction noise doesn't imploy being blocked in my tractor trailers and loud loud construction at 7 am during your stay. This isn't a vacation atmosphere at all. On the postive side, the home is beautiful and well stocked but the deck is right next to the home next door so privacy on the deck is minimal so I wouldn't stay here even if construction was done.
Superb experience with the lookout
Reviewed on 2024-06-02 by Sehrish K. , Issaquah, WA United StatesThe only thing that bothered us was that the thermostat was not inside the house, and there was no control in our hands. Home used to get either too cold in the day or too hot in the night and we couldn't change it as thermostat was in a locked room in the garage. Otherwise it was a great place to stay and spend a week or two with kids.
We had a great time at this house. Property was well maintained and clean, it was well stocked with kits and basic necessities.
The only thing that bothered us was that the thermostat was not inside the house, and there was no control in our hands. Beautiful home and great location, but no sound proofing
Reviewed on 2024-05-24 by , Portland, OR United StatesThis house is everything you see in the pictures and more. It is truly beautiful! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed so we were able to easily cook meals for large groups - from pots/pans, to foil/saran wrap, and every cooking utensil. The house was very clean, no issues whatsoever. Stocked with TP and paper towels. Plenty of towels for showering and hot tubbing. Hot tub would be better if not on the master deck, rather the communal deck. Dealing with the customer service team was easy and accessible. The house is in a great location close to town and has beautiful views. There was construction going on on both sides of the house, which was not disclosed to us prior to the stay, but it didn't bother us since we were there over the weekend, but something to consider if you're there during the week, as when we left on Monday morning, they were starting loud work at 7 AM. My biggest complaint was there was literally no sound proofing in the house. If you are in a bedroom downstairs, you will hear every word and step coming from anywhere upstairs, even without people speaking at volume or being rambunctious. This was a huge downfall for a large group when people were going to bed and waking up at different times. Because of this, I would be hesitant to rent this unit again or would be picky based on the group I was going with. Overall our stay was positive, and if the sound proofing isn't going to be an issue for your group, I would definitely recommend this rental.
Extravagant
Reviewed on 2024-04-02 by Maricon H. , LAKE STEVENS, WA United StatesThe pictures didn't do justice. The house was superb - the extra large open concept with very clean finishes, design, storages, the WET BAR, PATIO with lots of seating area while enjoying the scenic view!!!
