We were a party of 10 (6 adults, 4 kids) and had a great time at this house. The bed/bath count gave all us adults privacy, and the kids loved the bunkbed setup. We hung out on the back deck most evenings and used both the gas grill and the fire feature. Instructions from the management company were concise and helpful. Kitchen is really well equipped. We loved the ease of the free shuttle down to the lake and ended up renting a boat on our final day. So fun!

We enjoyed this house. It was perfect for three families. We had our joint space and then all had our own space. Loved the location and view. I will say like others that the upstairs does get VERY hot. It was 80 degrees up there the first night. Thankfully we brought fans and we were able to keep it pretty cool for the rest of the trip. But I think if the house is going to advertise A/C the upstairs should also be cool. Also a few maintenance things, there's a tiny nail sticking out in the carpet in the entry of the main suite, a few of us kept stepping on it. Also the floor in the main suite was wet when we got there? I'm assuming they shampooed the carpet but it was definitely weird to walk into when we got there.

Downsides are a smaller kitchen with really only enough for two people to fit in and the dishwasher is old and doesn’t try well which made it hard to run to keep up with dishes. We have stayed in a house at the Lookout with two other families for the past five years and love it every time. This was our first time staying in Better Lake Than Never and it didn't disappoint. The house was in good condition and the floor plan was well laid out to accommodate all of us. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the home! 3 floors plenty of room. Our only disappointment was no air conditioning on the 3 rd floor. We were there during 90+ days and the ceiling fans aren’t enough . Extremely hot and we had to purchase a box fan . The bunk bed room on the 3 rd floor was the hottest!

Overall, I was happy with our stay. However, I found the view disappointing and did not like the lack of aesthetic space out the back. Again, it had to do a lot with the view. Otherwise, the inside was comfortable and convenient. The dishwasher didn't work well, but I know they will have fixed it by now.

We all enjoyed being able to ride the little trams down to the beach/boating area. I was disappointed that there wasn't more beach, but it was nicely set up for chair lounging. The swimming area was small, but, again, it was ok.

I felt I was overcharged for use of a park to host two small outdoor parties, but that was not a big deal.

We loved the house and all staff was very friendly. They did send emails about events and when we showed up to one no one was there and the office couldn't give us much information. I think if they cancel an activity they should send out a following email explaining it's been cancelled prior to the start time.

The house was great for grandparents plus two families with children. Each family had a TV room on their floor. The deck was a wonderful gathering place. The large pool was a short walk away. A very clean, lovely house. Every year we eat at Sorrentos restaurant. It is kid friendly and the view is awesome!

We really enjoyed staying at Better Lake Than Never! It was wonderful for our family get away. It was just the right amount of space for our group of 10 and the pool table was so fun for the kids. The large outdoor couch and gas fire pit on the back porch made for a really fun way to end the evening watching the sun go down over the mountains and lake. It was truly breath-taking! We highly recommend Better Lake Than Never for a large group!

Please Note - this does not needed to be include for a formal review online... the home needs electric beaters for the kitchen (no way to mix things except by hand) and the light bulbs in the dining table chandelier kitchen table were blindingly bright, so we could not turn on the light over the dining table. Those are just some easy fixes that need addressing.

Overall the experience was fine. It would have been nice if the marina was open to park our boat. Our vacation to Chelan was a great escape from the city. The house was perfect for us, warm and cozy (as it was winter). The hot tub and pool provided endless fun for the kiddos.

The weekend was wonderful in spite of thee smoke in the area. The house was perfect for our three families - everyone had their own floor. :)

Clean and spacious home, a lot of stairs so be careful with little kiddies. We had ordered two cribs and was disappointed to not have it when we checked in, so we had to call and have them delivered.

We love staying at The Lookout. Getting away during distancing time was essential for us. Better Lake Than Never took care of many of our needs! Kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need. Although there was plenty of space, the living area felt cramped with all of the furniture there (two sofas plus two large single seats). It felt like some of the decor was just recently placed as you could see tags hanging from tables and baskets, a bit tacky! Doors creaked when it got warm (please oil ALL of the doors) inside. And the mattress covers, we aren't going to wet the bed, please don't use the crinkly plastic kind! It would've been nice to be able to access the bikes that were locked downstairs (what's the code?). So much space for 8 people to spread out on the three floors, that was very nice. The listing description compared to the photo descriptions were not matching; I hope they corrected that error (the bunk rooms are not all on one floor, that would be an absolute disaster, could you imagine??). 5 bedrooms is clearly a must-have. Take care of the squeaky doors and the plastic mattress covers, I'll give you FIVE STARS.

We had a great time! House was a little tight for the number of people we had, but it was great. If we travel with that many again, I would suspect we would get a bigger house, but overall the stay was relaxing, great and it was a very nice house.

We had a lovely time. Lots of room for 3 families. We had a toddler and a crawling baby so some baby gates would have been nice, and maybe a high chair too.

We loved the back sitting area with a little flame to toast marshmallows and watch Venus set over the hills after the sunset! Spectacular!
We loved the front porch too/ so cool and inviting. The staff were very helpful and courteous! We Love Chelan!! House was very cool and each part of the fat had their own floor!
