Almost Perfect
Reviewed on 2024-07-30 by , Ridgefield, WA United StatesGreat location and amenities. House had everything we needed to accommodate our large group. Only thing that was unfortunate is that on day one was that a breaker in the electric panel was bad and needed to be replaced. (Kept tripping)This caused the tv and electrical outlets not to work in the upstairs media room during our trip. Management was quick to respond and sent out maintenance, but their hands were tied as the owner would have to hire an electrician to replace the breaker. Other than that, great rental and had a fantastic vacation. Would recommend!

Fabulous House
Reviewed on 2024-07-02 by , UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA United StatesWe will return!
We spent a relaxing 3 days at this stunning home right across from the pool. With the kids' bunking on the top floor, the adults felt like everyone was on vacation! Our only issue was that the toaster was broken and it took a bit of time to figure out the coffee maker. Loved the slip n slide morning and the Endless Cidery's taco dinner. Lots to do here.
We will return!

The Bunkroom does not cool like the rest of the house. Overall good stay would stay again but not at the price that we originally paid. The Lookout amenities were very nice to have (shuttle, pool, lake access).

A beautiful home! This was our 6th year of renting a home at The Lookout.
Perfect Large Family Lake House
Reviewed on 2023-08-02 by , Lake Stevens, WA United States3 generations of family for the week. 7-9 adults, 9 kids. Plenty of comfortable space to sleep. Plenty of space to sit and eat. Plenty of places to lounge inside and out. Media room and bunk room let kids spread out when taking a break from the pool across the street. Shuttle stop right out front makes getting to beach a piece of cake even for kids alone. Modern, well decorated, comfortable, well maintained and well stocked. Common grass area behind house is perfect for bags or other yard games.
Great Thanksgiving Memories Made
Reviewed on 2022-12-01 by , Snoqualmie, WA United StatesThe house was amazing and the amenities were great! Perfectly described and also spotless. There were two things to be aware of that weren't too big a deal to mark them down on. One was the fuse box kept tripping for the downstairs bedroom, kitchen, and media room. It was a little inconvenient to have to keep going to the fuse box to reset but overall didn't put a damper on our trip. The second is the vast temperature difference at night with the thermostat. Upstairs heats up way hotter than downstairs. Again, didn't put a damper on our trip just needed to regulate with windows.
A weekend retreat

Great family vacation
Reviewed on 2022-07-19 by Gerhard S. , Poulsbo, WA, WA USThe staff at the complex was fantastic. Trash and recycle pick up constantly, activities notification almost daily, unauthorized parking enforced, hot tub cleaning almost daily, pools extremely clean, and I could go on. The house was clean and as described and very conveniently located. Kitchen and bathroom and cleaning supplies were plentiful. Quiet time rules were enforced. We had 8 adults and 5 kids between 4 and 10 and they all enjoyed the house and the activities. Vin Du Lac winery is very convenient and their wines and food are good as well as their service. The only suggestions I have is that you might wantto supply a fan as the upstairs bedrooms tend to get a little too warm. Also you may want to consider black out shades for the lower bedroom.Would DEFINITELY return

Didn’t find the bikes in the garage, but outside (didn’t see them until last day). Didn’t know how to access - no key. Rooms and great with multiple screens and areas for groups to hang out. Check thermostat. Kitchen has everything you need. Plenty of towels for the pool. No pets. No shoes inside the house. No lake view. Welcome wine! Wonderful house!!!

Just wonderful.
Reviewed on 2021-07-26 by Rosalyn L. , Bothell, WA United StatesThe house is beautiful and well-appointed. The cleaning work / housekeeping done on the house makes it feel like no one has been there before you. It’s got a nice grassy hill on one side, perfect for a little frisbee or croquet. Wrap around deck, clean hot tub, literally across from the best of the two pools. The house is comfortable and welcoming. My only complaint is that there are not blackout curtains. We were up with the sun every day we were there and that was not ideal. For all the comfort the house offers, not having room darkening curtains feels like a major miss.

This home is lovely and the perfect layout for our large family! We all loved the location; we were across the street from the pool. The kids' room was fantastic and well equipped with all kinds of board games and bunk beds! The kitchen was large and well-stocked with amenities. The only reason I am not giving all 5 stars is because of all the construction. The lots are small; one of the neighboring homes under construction is right next to this home. However, I was made aware of the construction before our stay but didn't think they would actually be working at 7:30 am.
We will definitely stay here again; hopefully, the neighboring homes will be finished by next summer!

Perfect place for a family get-away
Reviewed on 2020-07-14 by Jim G. , Longview, WA United StatesThe layout, furnishings, kitchen supplies, and outdoor spaces were perfect for our family. There were 16 of us in total, and we never felt cramped. The bunk bed room was perfect for the grandkids aged 3-7. The sofa beds weren't super comfortable, so we'd recommend bringing a blow up or topper to make them more comfortable. There were TONS of beach towels so no need to bring extra. We found a corn hole in the garage, which was fun to play on the grassy front lawn. The hot tub received a lot of use and was a perfect end to the day. One negative is the light fixtures in the stairwell are too large and stick out into the walking space. My son struck his head pretty hard on it and others had close calls, and none of us are very tall. I'd suggest changing those out before someone gets really hurt.
Amazing house & family getaway
Reviewed on 2020-07-07 by Melissa B. , Mercer Island, WA United StatesWe loved staying at the BlueWater during our family holiday with friends. The house was big enough to allow us to socially distance and stay safe during COVID. We desperately needed to get our of our houses and enjoy some sun. This house had everything you could imagine needing. Truly a home away from home. They had more in the cabinets at our disposal than we have in our own homes. We also loved all of the spaces outside the home on the patios and decks, as well as the hot tub. Since we were trying to stay safe while spending time with friends we spent most of our time outdoors socializing and eating. We will definitely be coming back to this home if it is available. The house was terrific and so was the location. Thank you so much for opening up your home to us!
Beautiful home but sheets were dirty in every bed
Reviewed on 2020-05-13 by , Renton, WA United StatesThe house is beautiful, very well stocked with everything you would need from the kitchen to the bedroom to pool and beach toys. I only have several concerns: all the bed sheets were dirty in every room, we found long hair and lashes as if the sheets weren’t washed ahead of time. We had problems with the wifi and the staff was prompt to get it fixed but no one wore masks or gloves when they came by.

Amazing Experience at the BlueWater #80
Reviewed on 2018-09-19 by Jannavie P. , Seattle, WA United StatesMy friends and family loved staying at The Bluewater at The Lookout at Lake Chelan! The house was actually larger than we had expected, the pictures do not do the kitchen and dining area justice. We had a lot of space to cook and hangout downstairs and outside, so it was perfect for the amount of people we had. The staff was extremely helpful, I had to call for some help on how to open the garage during check-in and the person who answered the phone was able to give me the code and directions on how to open it right then and there. I also called about garbage during check-out because we had so much that all of it would not fit in the garbage can outside and, without any hesitation, they sent someone over right away to pick up our trash. Everything was clean and in place when we got there and the house itself is just beautiful. We rented a pontoon boat (22-person) and jet skis (3-person) just across the lake about 15 minutes away from where we stayed. The boat rental company was called Chelan Parasail and Watersports, and the place we rented our jet skis was from Jet Skis Ahoy, both places I would also highly recommend to travelers who want to enjoy some water activities. There's also a Safeway really close-by so if we ever ran out of ice or forgot to bring something it was just down the street. Both check-in and check-out was a breeze with the instructions provided beforehand, and the App that they had available for me to download on my phone was both informational and convenient to use, so I'm glad I downloaded it for our stay. I would highly recommend both this particular home AND the Lookout's property management company to all my friends and relatives who are looking for a place to stay in Chelan!

Reviewed on 2018-07-22 by Jen B. , Woodinville , WA United StatesOverall fun experience, beautiful home in good condition. I didnt realize that I was renting from a home though that was owner rented as the front desk pointed out to me so there didnt seem to be as much interest in helping with the WiFi or giving us coffee just for our first AM- we were exploring the community as we have five kids and would like to buy a home there on the larger side- ie 5 bedrooms. It would be helpful just to tell people which homes do have the support of the Lookout and which do not so we dont have to figure it out ourselves.
