Girls mid week October wine tasting trip included a stay at Chelan Awhile. We enjoyed the outdoor patio with radiant ceiling heat in the afternoons and close proximity to the community hot tub was a bonus. Kitchen was small but we made successful dinners both nights. Peek a boo views of surrounding hills were nice. Window coverings in house were cheap, and little things like bathroom shelf not in studs and no suitcase stand in one bedroom were not up to the Lookout quality we are used to. Had to work with resort staff twice on gate/house access and they were very friendly and responsive both times.

Our only issues were.....
1) we are a bit older couple and being so close to the pool could get a bit noisy at times. If you have children the location is great.
2) some of the outdoor furniture needed to be upgraded
But all in all we enjoyed our stay very much.

The location is great. Stayed at these hats plenty of times at the Outlook but this one has really terrible living room furniture and outdoor sitting furniture. You can’t even sit really in the outdoor furniture without it breaking or falling over I would recommend a different unit than this one, the sofas in the living room, very minimal and only has two chairs other than that bedroom furniture upstairs is great but they need to really improve their living room and outdoor furniture. They’re getting paid a lot of money. It needs to be at least usable.

A friend and I decided to spend a week in Chelan. The Chelan Awhile home at The Lookout was the perfect place for this getaway. It's cute, located right by the Vineyard Pool, and has a great vibe. It was really hot, and there was a bit of a snafu with the cooling system the first night, but everything smoothed out after that. The Lookout has lots of community-wide activities, and is located right in the heart of the Lake Chelan wine and cider tasting area. Great place.

Staying at Chelan Away was perfect. It is a well equipped comfortable home that is great for a long or short stay at Chelan. We love the location being close to the assigned parking spot, near the pool but not looking in so the patio still felt private. Both bedrooms were comfortable. The homes location is steps away from the year round pool and hot tub, yet private. Supplied amenities surpassed expectations. The guides supplied to operate the heating, WiFi and everything in between were more than thorough and greatly helpful. Home was clean as could be and ready to be occupied by stated 4pm. We will be booking again!

We had such a lovely time at Chelan Awhile. Its proximity to the pool was perfect with two little swimmers. Everything was easily accessible and the staff was so friendly and easy to get a hold of when needed. Our home had all the needed amenities and offered the perfect space for a family. We're definitely coming back!

The unit is really cute! We loved the beds and thought they were super comfortable. Huge bonus!
Kitchen well stocked minus a garlic press. But I felt it was a little on the cheaper side. Everything is IKEA. The chairs for the kitchen were very uncomfortable with a ridge so if you sat on the edge it hurt. We’ll try a different unit next time we travel just to compare. Loved this location bc it’s close enough to the pool but far enough for noise except for the pool music which was so loud we had to call to turn it down bc you can hear every lyric inside the house.

Overall a fantastic stay at Chelan Awhile at The Lookout. This is the second time we’ve rented a unit here and love how family friendly it is as well as general condition of the properties and grounds. Chelan Awhile was fully stocked with stuff for young kids (high chair, portable crib, toddler toilet seats and stools), which made it super convenient. Our only issue with the unit itself was the mattress in the main bedroom, it was super uncomfortable and led to a few sleepless nights.

A couple of suggestions for The Lookout property management: 1) we were very disappointed by the large group of college-age men partying at the pool well past pool closure at 10pm on Saturday night. They were incredibly noisy (frat party/bachelor party?) and there did not appear to be any effort to close the pool at designated hours and ask them to move on. As a family-oriented rental this was a big shock and would prevent me from coming back/recommending The Lookout to other families; and 2) the text messages from Lookout property management were a bit overboard. We received multiple messages each day, which is not what I want on vacation. They also weren’t super useful or necessary. Also the unit numbering is super confusing - make the address more obvious in upfront information so that we can actually find the unit.

Loved our stay this time around at the cottage. Location was perfect. Right next to the pools. The house was clean and cozy. Love how they had extra children accessories as we came with 2 of our own children.

It was very kids friendly, there was lots of kids related stuff such as high chair, kids plates, step stools which was really nice if you have kids. The community here is really nice. They occasionally have event like wine tasting or s’more party and send event information via text to guests directly. I would definitely want to stay here again!

Steps away from the pool with having 2 younger kids it was perfect. Only complaint is the bedrooms needs more blinds or curtains or upper windows because it gets bright very early and there is a lot one construction going on right next to the home and they started very early in the morning. Other then that my family and I will for sure be back. Community has lots of great lookout places/photo ops, nice park, both pools are amazing and the community of houses are all so cute! Lots of places to Bbq around the community.

We spoke to 2 different people and they were trite, unprofessional, and just rude. I strongly believe a training is needed to support their management team in proper communication strategies and need a strong reality check in understanding kindness.
