Nice house and community but needs some TLC
Reviewed on 2023-06-27 by , Arlington, WA United StatesThe house and community were nice. However, our fridge broke the first day we were there. The management brought us a new fridge right away but it was much smaller, which made it hard since we had 12 people in the house. The microwave handle was also broken so we were nervous to use it. We also weren’t told about the amazing lake access and just happened to find it the day before we were leaving. We then found it mentioned in the manual but that needs to be way more advertised. We felt jipped out of an amazing experience .
Charming Cottage, Kitchen Not Well Stocked
Reviewed on 2021-09-16 by , Seattle, WA United StatesWe love The Lookout, and this past summer was now our fourth time coming as a family. While the home we rented was charming in many ways, a big disappointment for me was the kitchen. I am a big cook, and had planned many meals for our family, but while the other homes at The Lookout were well stocked, this one was not. There was no grill pan, only one small sheet pan, and a lack of skillets. Also, the utensils were sparse, as were the glassware. The pantry was locked so we had to keep our food on the counters, and there were no usual items found in vacation rental properties like salt and pepper or oil, meaning we had to make a trip to the store mid-meal prep. In addition, the upper suite above the garage was locked on the first night we arrived and no one was able to figure out how to get it open until the following day.
Great house
Reviewed on 2021-08-18 by Matthew N. , Everett, WA United StatesA few things to improve. There is only street level parking. For the size of the home and price we paid there should be access to park in the garage.
2nd floor bathroom door handle was broken and none of the bathroom fans worked.
Bigger beds for two of the rooms on the 2nd floor would be nice.
That said, it is a very nice house and would recommend to others.

A great vacation!
Reviewed on 2021-07-09 by , Pasco, WA United StatesThe house was perfect for our family gathering! Very clean and well maintained. We were there during the heatwave and I was impressed how cool the house stayed. We were impressed with the community and amenities they provided with the rides to the beach and the poolside social. We called with a few questions and they were very responsive in answering all our concerns with regards to extra parking. No need to bring beach towels they have that covered! The fireworks on Saturday were awesome!

Chelan Renegades
Reviewed on 2021-06-30 by Linda N. , Brier, WA United StatesMy family had a wonderful time. It would be great if there was more dishwasher soap, TP and paper towels. No enough for our stay and we had to buy more. Loved all the improvements The Lookout is making, refreshment bar, concert, and tighten security.

Cozy Time Away!
Reviewed on 2021-06-22 by , Portland, OR United StatesWe had a lovely time at the Driftwood Cottage w/Carriage House. The house was comfortable for our group of 10. The property description was accurate, although I would caution that the sleeper sofa is not something I would count on using at all! Our 10 year old would not sleep on it due to how uncomfortable it was. I can't imagine an adult being able to sleep on it. We also had a few issues upon arrival which the management were quick to address. Unfortunately one of the issues was the firepit not working. It was unable to be fixed during our stay so we missed out on that aspect - which was one of the reasons we rented this home. The home is in a perfect location to access both pools and the waterfront, which was awesome. Also, wanted to note that the window coverings do not block light - thankfully we always travel with sleep masks. My parents stayed in the carriage house and said the sun just poured in in the mornings. Would be much more comfortable with blackout blinds/drapes Will be coming back to rent again but will most likely find a different rental.
Excellent
Reviewed on 2021-06-09 by , Lakewood, WA United StatesEverything was excellent! We enjoy this house. The only problem was the key code didn't work for most of our stay but luckily the key to the cottage house provided us access.

Amazing place, Amazing location
Reviewed on 2020-08-18 by Luis U. , redmond, WA United Statesthis is our first time staying at the Lookout, we normally stay in Wapato point. But we decided to try the Lookout at the Driftwood Cottage. To be honest the amenities in this house were the best we have seen and we really liked the community feel, and the convenience to get to our boat with the carts. We will definitely be here again next year!
