We had a great stay. There were so many useful items provided in this house. A cooler, a beach wagon, pool toys, etc. We stayed in a similar unit last year, which was great but definitely didn’t provide the plethora of helpful supplies as this unit did. Also, my 13-year-old slept on the pullout and said it was comfortable — which is usually not the case with pull out sofas. The location was great and we could easily walk around the neighborhood for coffee or to hit the beach. The staff at the coffee house and the guys who shuttle you to the beach are so friendly.

Poolside Bingo, movie night, and the giant slip-and-slide were a hit. We did not have any pool towels, however they called the day after we checked in and told us we could get some at the office. Unfortunately we never figured out where that was so we purchased our own and used those (maybe consider adding signs, or making them a little more visible if they are there since we didn’t see any). Well stocked house. Our only complaint was the coffee maker... With 4 people staying here, a full size coffee pot maker would be great. Everything else was just as expected and wonderful.

This place is great! I've never stayed at a place so convenient. The whole wedding party stayed in this complex, and were all within a 2 minute walk from each other. I definately would like to come back.

Our family had a great time at the lookout. The house was fully stocked with all the things we needed. It's small but quaint and just perfect for the 4 of us! It's right outside the pool so ease of access and loved the amenities the lookout has to offer!

This was the perfect house for our family vacation and plan to return again in the future! We loved the convenience to the pool, and the size was nice for the 5 of us. Bonus items include a ton of pool toys and board games, as well as other outdoor activity items. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and serve ware, and the large dining table was great. The only things we missed were bonus items like foil. The management team was friendly and easy to reach for questions and the grounds were well maintained. Not a negative, but information for potential future renters: the stairs to the bedrooms are a little steep if you have mobility issues (though the pull out sofa is on the main level), and only one parking spot is available at the residence (extra vehicles must use the overflow lot which is sufficiently far that we shuttled people to the house.) We weren’t bothered because we have an infant that gets up early, but renters planning to stay at this house in the near future should be aware that (as noted on the website) the houses immediately across the roadway are in finishing stages of construction and there is associated noise from about 7:30 am. Again, this rental was perfect for our stay and we would recommend it for a small group that would enjoy the proximity to the pool area.

I came for work. The place is lovely. Having each bedroom have a bath was exceptional. The only complaint I have is there was a lot of construction going on the roadway.

Great rental. Being close to the pool was a huge benefit to our special needs son. Getting to the far away lake area was satisfactory. On the downside the parking was terrible. There is not enough space and its clear parking rules are not enforced. If you have a large vehicle good luck. Pool hours are also not enforced. Many nights where people in the pool and the hot tub well past 10 pm. Units are overpriced. The Lookout staff speed through the neighborhood and even ignore stop signs!

What a wonderful little cottage, location location, location. Our 2 year old son was up and in the pool every morning, the fate to the pool is right out the patio. We spend one day down at the beach which he loved also. The cottage had everything we needed, made breakfast in the morning had coffee outside. What a great complex easy bike ride to town, great place to take a walk. We meet so many other families their with there kids. Just book it you won’t be disappointed!

Everything is new and of high quality, the kitchen is fully equipped, new pots and pans, a smart TV that turns into an art picture when not in use, cozy blankets on the sofa etc. This house is perfect if you feel you need a change of location, but want to stay safe.
