K Syrah - a home away from home

Also it would have been nice to have been supplied coffee or Keurig pods for the coffee makers. I assumed that would be available as it usually is at any other resort so it was disappointing to not have coffee provided, especially for the very high cost of staying at Lookout.

Great Place to Stay!

In practical terms, the home had everything we needed and more too. Such a nice kitchen and so well equipped. We loved our outdoor time too on the big front porch and the side lounge area. Great location close to a pool and park. We would love to stay here again!

Great location, great house - exactly what we needed. The Lookout folks were very accommodating, we needed very little support but when we contacted them they were immediately helpful! I called right at 6pm with a request, got voicemail, and while I was leaving a message, I got an apologetic call back that they couldn't answer my call! What?!?!? Highly recommend K Syrah, and any Lookout home.

Perfect for a Chelan weekend getaway

Clean, stylish, and well appointed...we were there for a weekend of hiking, snow shoeing, and wine tasting, and K Syrah was our perfect base camp...centrally located on the north side of the lake, the house was a great place to put up our feet (have a bit more wine!) and relax after a day of doing things...dog friendly was awesome and so our pups were able to join the adventure. I'd definitely recommend this property and will plan a future stay myself!

We brought our boat and moored it at the marina below the lookout. The cottage is very nice with all the amenities. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Could not have asked for a better quick 2 night getaway across the mountains. We were lucky to have fabulous fall weather with the leaves still full with color. Our rental house was perfect, everything we needed after a day of golf or wine tasting. Benson Vineyards is a must stop, spectacular view, great wine with friendly staff. Blueberry Hill for breakfast was so delicious and interesting atmosphere. Dinner at Sorento’s exceeded our expectations. <br/>We look forward to our next visit to Lake Chelan.

Nearly everything but food and drink is supplied, so all you need to do is make a grocery run. 2 BR (1 king and 1 queen with a loft [twin?]), 2 full BA, 3 good-sized TVs, 2 XBox 360s, a fully functional kitchen with newer appliances, a gas grill, a pair of bicycles, stacked front-loading washer & dryer... The only part of our stay we didn't enjoy was how quickly it flew by--we will be back!

The houses we've stayed in have always been really clean. This particular house doesn't have quite the amenities that some of the other houses have, but we knew that prior to booking it. K Syrah is very well maintained and we appreciated the pantry having some extra supplies (like saran wrap, oil etc). The two beds are only full size, so that was unexpected. Since I was sick, my husband and I were okay sleeping in two different rooms! We really loved the plush couch! Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Home Description
K Syrah - whatever will be will be at this charming lakeside cottage! Whether you are ready for a family vacation, girls' getaway, or romantic escape, K Syrah at The Lookout has everything you need! Centrally located in the community, you are mere steps away from 3 parks including the main pool and hot tub with a fire pit boasting the best view in the valley! Adjacent to the pool is Lookout Park with bbq grills, grassy areas, pickleball court, playground, and fireplace. Take the cruiser bikes out for a spin through this wonderful new community and enjoy the breathtaking views, vistas, sunrises and sunsets!
The front porch welcomes you to K Syrah with its comfortable chairs and peek-a-boo view Uplake. It is the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or evening cocktail as you relax and unwind. As you enter, you'll find gorgeous hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings in the living room, dining room, and kitchen with plenty of windows to enjoy the almost 300 days of sunshine. Out the back door, you will find the new vineyard park and can stroll along the lovely lanes of The Lookout eventually meeting up with the path that will take you into downtown Chelan, as well as the beautiful Vin du Lac winery.
The first bedroom has gorgeous built-in bunk beds, each with its own reading lamp. It is the perfect kid's hide-out with a 42" flat screen TV and Xbox 360. The top bunk is a twin and the bottom is a queen for flexibility in sleeping arrangements. Inside the bottom bunk drawers are puzzles and games galore for your fun and entertainment! The main bathroom is located adjacent to it and has a full tub/shower and pedestal sink.
The Master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and full dresser. There is also a 52" flat screen Smart TV as well as an attached full bathroom with vanity and tub/shower. Stocked with games, playing cards, puzzles, an Xbox One, 65" flat screen TV, and Bluetooth surround stereo (that also connects to the patio speakers), the living room is ready for all your entertaining and relaxation needs. The queen sofa sleeper can accommodate 2 more guests in comfort.
The dining room table seats 6 people with ease and includes an additional leaf for 2 more (under the Master bed). Between the dining room and kitchen are bar with stools perfect for a quick meal or extra seating.
The beautiful Caesarstone countertops and stainless steel appliances appoint a kitchen that is stocked with everything you need to create your favorite meal or bake your favorite dessert! You will find a coffee maker, Keurig, pots and pans, dishes, hand mixer, a KitchenAid mixer, baking dishes, casserole dishes, bowls, plastic containers, waffle iron, crockpot, stockpot, electric skillet, blender, platters, silverware, spices, and much more! There are plastic cups, bowls, and plates for the kids too! You'll find plenty of barware including plastic barware for outdoor enjoyment. If you prefer to grill outside, the patio has outdoor seating and a gas grill accompanied by a full set of bbq tools in the kitchen. Lounge in the Adirondack chairs off the back steps near the bbq to keep an eye on your grilling masterpiece and enjoy the sunrises in the mornings. Off the kitchen is a full-sized washer and dryer for your laundry needs.
Except for a few steps up onto the front porch, K Syrah is located all on one easily accessible floor. Support bars are in the main bathroom for showering/bathing needs.
