We are huge fans of The Lookout and this has been our favorite home to rent. The location is perfect but it's the home that keeps us coming back. We love that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kids love hanging out in the upper level media room. I also appreciate that all the rooms are big enough to hold everyone. Many of the other homes sleep a lot of people, but good luck fitting them all in the living room for an evening of games. The deep double decker decks provide a lot of outdoor space, and the fact that it's a wraparound deck allows you to seek out shade or sun depending on the time of day. Such a thoughtfully planned vacation home.

The Rendezvous house is in a great location and is set up very well for families with the combination of the 3rd floor bunk/media room for kids and the 2 king masters + the queen on the 2nd. The only issue is the roof line dumps melting snow or rain directly over both of the main stairways leaving the house. These froze into a giant ice block overnight.

The neighborhood is beautiful, with the most adorable houses and amazing views of the mountains and lake. This house was huge and perfect for us and our kids. There was so much space and plenty of beds for everyone, and the kids were thrilled to discover a closet full of bean bag chairs :)
The dishwasher didn't work properly, so we had to hand wash the dishes, so hopefully that gets fixed. People renting this home should know that the owners live in the apartment above the garage.
The location of this home is ideal, right across the street from the playground, open field, pickle ball court, hot tub... The big pool and hot tub are just a quick walk away. The pool's heater was being worked on, so it wasn't heated, but that didn't stop some of us from swimming.

My family stays at the lookout once a year each summer. It’s our only vacation during a given year most of the time. Let’s be honest, the cost of these places is so expensive but you tell yourself that the house and community are great so it’s worth it. The house cabinets were chipped and really outdated. We have 3 kids and every board game/puzzle was broken, missing pieces or the boxes were empty. The keyless entry didn’t work and the deck was old that one of kids got a cut on their foot from the old wood. Great location, not a great house. The bed was so squeaky that when my wife rolled over I woke up and vice versa. For the cost this place should be a lot better. Will not stay here again.

Really enjoyed our trip to the Lookout. House had plenty of space for our 7 guests and was a good setup for kids. Close walk to pool and across from lawn!

We had a wonderful time! The house was almost perfect (we texted a couple of small things that they needed to know). The only concerning part was how infrequently all of the employees wore masks. They came into our home without masks and chatted closely to us without masks on. During this time, we thought all employees working in WA state needed to wear masks. It was a little unsettling.

Great house with 2 master suites. 3rd floor perfect for kids with bunk room and bonus room. Only complaint was A/C was programmed so it couldn’t go below a certain temp which simply wasn’t cool enough for hot Chelan nights. Other than that it’s a great house for 2 families.

The home and the lookout community were exactly what we were looking for in a vacation destination. We had an amazing time taking in everything this community had to offer to include the magnificent views, the park across the street, the pool, and the beach/marina. My family and friends are already planning a stay for next year.

The house was great for our group but because of the smoke in Chelan we had to cut our planned 7 day trip down to 3 days. The Air Quality Index had risen to 510...hazardous! We had small children on the trip and just stayed inside, but finally just had to leave and the smoke was bothering all of us.
We had a problem with the refrigerator being too warm and the maintenance staff found that one of the vents had iced over. He fixed it. We asked them to check the air filter which they did. I was filthy black and they put in a new one.
