Our entire family, from grand parents to toddlers, enjoyed our stay. Lovely home with well-stocked kitchen. Minor repair was fixed within an hour. Great pools and a nice beach for little ones.

Our extended family stayed here and it was a great experience. House was clean and well furnished. Loved the main for living space, kitchen opening up to the family room, comfortable for our large group. The porch was a beautiful place to relax, chat, read, and have a meal. The fire pit area was nice. The rooms worked well for our family, nice to have the full size bunks downstairs. An extra shower would have been helpful but we made it work. The shuttles to and from the lake were easy to get, stopping right outside the house. The lake area was better than expected, nice to have the chairs and umbrellas down there. Our family really enjoys playing yard games so having the common grassy area so close was perfect. We had a fantastic week and made lots of great memories, thank you!

We have been coming to Chelan for 20 years and five to the Lookout. Appreciate the owners of "You had me at Merlot" sharing their home. It was wonderful. Only items not working were the fridge had a small water leak and the fan in the upstairs bathroom didn't work. My only input would be to have check-in by 3:00 and allow for early check-in if arrangements have been made. Check out at 11:00 is perfect. We traveled 3 hours and arrived early, but could not get in until 4:00. That was a let down.

The rental management community and communication with them was great. The house needed a little bit renovation at some places especially furnitures and carpets. The kitchen was ok. According to the price range, tools can be upgraded. Animals are allowed and this requires deeper cleaning. Under the furnitures were so dirty. Overall was a good stay.

The house was not very clean, at all. That is where any negative side comes from. And no real indication if things were sanitized. General dirt, dust, and cobwebs were evident. For the $300 cleaning fee, and $100 pet fee - It didn’t seem like the house was at the standard of cleanliness as you’d hope.

While it does not have a yard, it has a terrific outdoor fire place with plenty of space to gather. The wrap around deck and upstairs balcony are very nice and gave us the perfect place to watch the Winterfest fireworks. The Customer Service Team was incredibly friendly and helpful. I stayed with a group of 14 and everyone loved the property. We cannot wait to return to The Lookout! I 100% recommend this to anyone who plans on visiting Lake Chelan.

We rented "Merlot" for a 3-day weekend to attend a family wedding in Chelan. The 3 bedrooms were great for our two daughters and their husbands and us. The young adult children were happy to sleep in the basement in the bunk beds. Adequate supplies and linens were provided. We had a wonderful time!

I was making breakfast both mornings & had to flip the breaker because we were using too much electricity? Recently hosted a 14 girl bridal shower here in the spring and the home is absolutely awesome. It has everything you need for either coming and going between wine tastings/lake time or staying in and cooking dinner/hanging out! We will definitely return to this location in the future.

House is brand new and very tastefully decorated, 3 king bedrooms up, large bunk room downstairs, living space on main floor. Not a huge house but very well laid out and equipped with everything from dishes to pool towels etc. This house does not have a garage or storage area so if your skiing or snowmobiling you won’t have a place to dry your gear besides the basement bunk room. There are 3 parking spots in front but they only cleared one from snow so we were lucky we brought a shovel so we could clear the other 2 since street parking is limited to one vehicle and impossible altogether in the winter because they plow the street snow onto the curbs rather than the open lots.
the reception staff was extremely nice and helpful though the phone number listed for the office goes to an answering service even during office hours, which I thought was odd. But it’s a short walk to the office so it wasn’t a big deal.

the reception staff was extremely nice and helpful though the phone number listed for the office goes to an answering service even during office hours, which I thought was odd. But its a short walk to the office so it wasnt a big deal.
Overall we really liked the place and had a great time!

New development, in January 2018 less than 25% build, so lots of open spaces for sledding and great views. Set on a hill about 1.5 miles from downtown chelan with a sidewalk connection its an easy walk. <br/>House is brand new and very tastefully decorated, 3 king bedrooms up, large bunk room downstairs, living space on main floor. Not a huge house but very well laid out and equipped with everything from dishes to pool towels etc. This house does not have a garage or storage area so if your skiing or snowmobiling you wont have a place to dry your gear besides the basement bunk room. There are 3 parking spots in front but they only cleared one from snow so we were lucky we brought a shovel so we could clear the other 2 since street parking is limited to one vehicle and impossible altogether in the winter because they plow the street snow onto the curbs rather than the open lots. <br/>the reception staff was extremely nice and helpful though the phone number listed for the office goes to an answering service even during office hours, which I thought was odd.
