Whether you're a leisurely cruiser (think: wine and cheese in the front basket) or an adventurous cycler (think: mud splattered legs), the Chelan Valley is home to some of Washington's best biking opportunities. With low-traffic roads and cross-country trails for all skill levels—plus 300 days of sun a year—Chelan attracts riders from all over the state for bike races, wine tours and vacation outings.
ROAD BIKING:
From The Lookout, it couldn't be easier, downtown Chelan is just an easy 1-mile ride away. Further north, peddling your way around Manson's moderate loop trail is a great way to take in the sights. Don't forget to pack for a picnic!
MOUNTAIN BIKING:
If you're up for more adventure, there are endless mountain biking options on the trails or deserted country roads. Winding through orchards and vineyards, looking out at the tops of surrounding hills and down at the blue lake, these are some of the most picturesque rides in Washington.
