Is your pool open during the winter months?

Our Vineyard Pool and Spa are open year-round. Our Hilltop pool is open from early April to early October, weather dependent.

Where do I check in?

Check-in time begins at 4:00 p.m. During busy seasons, the property may not be available until 5:00 p.m. Directions to your vacation home will be emailed and texted to you before your scheduled arrival. Every effort is made to have each home ready by 4:00 p.m., but no guarantee is made as to the exact time of occupancy. Housekeeping and maintenance personnel must provide services between occupancies for each home in preparation for incoming guests. On occasion, housekeeping and/or maintenance services may not be completed by your 4:00 p.m. check-in time. This situation rarely occurs and we apologize in advance if your check-in time is delayed.

What is the departure time?

The check-out time is 11 a.m. sharp. A late check-out fee of $150.00 will apply on late departures. Please call the morning of your departure to ask if a complimentary one-hour late checkout is available.

Note: this can only be extended on homes that do not have an arrival that same day.

Is there a cleaning fee for homes?

Yes, a one-time cleaning fee is charged for each guest's stay. The amount of this fee is based on the bedrooms, baths, and overall size of the accommodation you select. Extra cleaning fees will be charged if it is necessary to perform cleaning beyond the average amount for the home.

Do I need to bring linens?

No, all of our vacation rentals have professionally laundered, high-quality sheets and towels. Pool towels are provided in each home.

Do you provide paper products, soaps, and other household supplies?

Yes - our vacation rentals are furnished with a supply of paper and soap products to begin your stay with us. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, face tissue, bath soap, dishwashing soap, and a starter amount of laundry soap. We encourage you to bring additional products with you for longer-term stays. For health and safety reasons, we do not provide any spices or condiments.

Washers & Dryers?

All of our homes have a washer and dryer available. A starter amount of laundry soap is provided.

Is housekeeping available?

Each home is thoroughly cleaned and prepared before your arrival. Cleaning services during your stay are available for an additional fee.

Are towels available at the pools?

The community pool does not offer towels. Guests need to bring the pool towels provided in the home or their own towels for use at the pool. We ask that you do not take the bath towels provided in your cottage to the pool. You must bring your pool card to gain access to the pool.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, some of our homes allow dogs. Pet-friendly accommodations are indicated on our website. A non-refundable per-pet fee of $50 will be added to the cost of your stay when bringing a pet. Please note that you must advise us that you will be bringing your pet before your arrival. Fees will be charged for any unreported pets and your reservation may be terminated depending on the circumstances.

Do you have a marina?

Exclusively available for rent by our owners and guests, the 70-slip marina on Lake Chelan offers short and long-term slip rentals, 40 of which are 'deep water' and can be used year-round. The Lookout is pleased to be partnering with Shoreline Watercraft to provide you with the best in watercraft and boat rentals. Shoreline has everything from 14-passenger Pontoon boats to luxury open bow boats and even some more budget-friendly boats. Overflow parking is available to park boat trailers. Parking passes are REQUIRED to park in the overflow parking lot. Please contact the rental office at inquiry@chelanlookout.com or 509.888.7677 for boat trailer parking passes. The overflow parking lot is open from 8 am to 11 pm. Overflow parking will be locked from 11 pm to 8 am. 
Is there a boat launch on the property?

There is no launch at The Lookout, but two public boat launches are located less than one mile from The Lookout. Visit Lakeshore Marina and Chelan Riverwalk Park for more information.

Is there room to park my boat or RV at The Lookout?

Your vacation rental home is not able to accommodate an RV, boat trailer, or camper parking. Such vehicles must be parked in our utility parking lot near The Lookout entrance just off Highway 150. You may not occupy them while they are parked on-site.

Secure boat and RV parking are available at Reed's Marine and Lakeshore Marine and RV.

Do you have charging stations for electric cars?

At this time we do not have a public charging station at The Lookout, however, the police station and local Safeway have charging stations. Please visit the link to view our homes equipped with a NEMA 14-50 Charging Station, which is available to guests renting the homes:

Are bikes provided?

Some owners leave bikes at home, and some photos/images of bikes may be shown on our website. However, please remember that we cannot guarantee these bikes' availability, quality, condition, or safety. Guests are encouraged to bring their own bikes. 

Where is your town located?

We are located approximately 1.5 miles from downtown Chelan, 5 miles from downtown Manson and 34 miles north of Wenatchee in Central Washington. Please refer to our Driving Directions section for more details on finding your way to The Lookout at Lake Chelan.
