Chances R, you will love staying at this cottage in the Vineyard District. The Vineyard District has a “resort-style” feel with its unique setting that includes a year-round heated pool, extra-large hot tub, and a splash pad to relax, swim and enjoy the sun steps from Chances R.

Among the many features at Chances R is a fifteen-foot-wide NanaWall that no other Vineyard Cottage has. The wall completely opens up to the north-facing back deck and patio that overlooks the pool and hot tub. This is an excellent place for morning coffee and provides a shady spot in the day's heat.

On the back deck, two 5,000W Infratech IR heaters provide the perfect amount of heat for those cool evenings extending the outdoor living well into fall, even with the wall open. Just off the deck is a paver patio with a gas fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs.

Enjoy an evening with the NanaWall open, and have the deck heaters on, while listening to music and enjoying a glass of wine.

The front patio, which faces south, has full sun and a partial view of Lake Chelan. This patio also has a fire pit and patio furniture with seating for eight. This is a great place to be while grilling, people-watching, and enjoying the sunset.

The kitchen/dining area is very functional and well-appointed. The dining table is counter height adding extra meal prep and buffet-style service areas. There is a double-drawer dishwasher, and the refrigerator has two ice makers for ample ice for your drinks. In the pantry, you will find cookware, mixing/serving bowls, food storage containers, etc. The full-size front-load high-capacity washer and dryer are also located in the pantry. Above the refrigerator are a pressure cooker and blender.

The living room is very comfortable, with two leather swivel chairs, a sofa, and an electric fireplace to add ambiance. The 75” 4K Smart TV is mounted on a swivel base, making it great for watching movies and football games.

Upstairs has two large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and one has a bathtub, which is great for younger kids, especially after a day at the beach! Both rooms have Smart TVs with Sonos sound bars.

Pets are, unfortunately, not allowed.

As the name implies, Chances R you are going to; have an incredible time, go wine tasting, boating, swimming in the lake, enjoy the heated pool, go skiing, hiking, mountain biking, sit by the fire, have a beer or two, well you get the ! Chances R is a special place!

The Lookout community is growing, and construction activity may occur during your stay. Construction hours vary by season but fall between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and weekends. Please contact Guest Services with any questions or concerns.

My husband and I had an incredible stay at Chances R in The Chelan Lookout community. The place itself was incredibly clean, very well stocked with everything you could need, comfortable and had incredible mountain views! We loved using the fire pit and couches outback. Lastly, the customer service, effortless check in, and all the amenities that come with the community we're fantastic. Absolutely hoping to stay here again soon!

Wow! What a great to stay at for a little family getaway! We had small children with us and this place could not be more convenient for families. House had everything, and I mean everything including the sanitizing wipes, abundance of towels, smores sticks and plenty of soap for dishwasher etc, they had everything we needed! Loved the place so much that we will be back!Thank you for an amazing stay!!

We were joined by another couple for three nights at the Lookout. This was our second visit to the Lookout and our friends first time in Chelan. We enjoyed good weather, golf and wine tasting. Our cottage was nice and well-appointed, however, a couple features were not to our liking. The bathrooms had under-vanity motion directed night lights, which are a nice safety feature, but not when they kept going on and off all night long and making a clicking noise each time (even while the door was closed). Secondly, there were no instructions to use the dishwasher, which featured two drawers (something new for us!). We would definitely make another visit to The Lookout, but probably wouldn't rent a cottage due to the steep and narrow staircase to the bedrooms.

The house was beautiful and well equipped! The whole development is perfectly designed with a variety of architectural plans and gorgeous special landscaping, plus everything is well maintained and managed. We loved it and had a great time.

Notes on this specific house, Chances R: One is that if you have issues with stairs they are pretty steep...I have 2 new knees but there is a sturdy railing so it was good exercise for me. Another is how wonderful the heaters for the deck are...easy to operate and very efficient...I did Wordle on the deck every morning at 5 am...great view, warm and comfortable!

This is our 2nd time at this unit & love it. Very well equipped & the window wall opening is perfect in nice weather. I would swap out the chandelier in the bedroom with a ceiling fan & provide a step stool for getting dishes from the cupboard top shelves. It appeared u had to download an app to adjust the sound bar. That would be something I would reconsider as well. Mattress in master wasn’t nearly as comfortable as our 1st stay there.

The house is great and very well supplied. No issues with that. But, the construction going on now really impeded our ability to enjoy the house. We knew about the construction behind, but while we were there, they were tearing up the lot in front and it was non-stop construction (literally - 8am until nearly 9pm one night!!) of excavators digging and backing up, making it impossible to sit outside and enjoy the fire table and seating area both in front and in the back. We had to stay inside with all the windows and doors closed.

The Lookout is a great community to visit and place to stay! Our cottage was perfect for our family size and the amenities were perfect! Only reason this isn’t 5-star is we happened to visit while they were building additional cottages and it was loud until he evening (beyond 5pm). Also, the bedroom windows weren’t completely covered so the early morning sun came in.

This house is AWESOME. I love the nana wall, especially when there isn't smoke from fires. It was really wonderful to have the open space from the living room out onto the deck. The house was very clean and comfortable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The parking and pool locations were also very ideal.

We had an overall good stay at Chances R. We loved The Lookout and amenities provided; Chances R was conveniently located next to the larger of the two pools, which was great for our kids. The home was overall clean and well stocked. Unfortunately, a major downside to our stay was the constant construction right across the street on both sides, which led to lots of noise, dust and lack of privacy. Also, the outdoor firepit located at the back of the house does not work.

This was our first stay in the Lookout area rental. We had an awesome experience!! The house that we stayed at “chances R” was very clean and fully furnished with everything you needed. Safeway store was 5 min away so we went there for food. I would definitely recommend this place and would come back again.

My husband and I stayed at Chances R for two nights. Overall, Chances R is comfortable, with sleek and simple amenities. It is worth mentioning that there is construction happening on new cottages just off the back patio. This is noted in the rental description, but it feels worth mentioning that if you're looking for a quiet or private stay this work may interfere with that until they're done. However, the owners have done a good job with Chances R and these cottages are exceptional in terms of use of space. A suggestion for the owners: there is a lot of great tech in this house (Sonos, remotes for the lights, remotes for the bedroom blinds) we figured a lot of it out as we went along, but some we couldn't, a detailed owners manual would be a help.

Wonderful experience during off season in Chelan. The house in a great central location steps from the pool. Beautiful home with great amenities. Less crowded in September with cool temps at night but into the 70's during the day. ]

This is home is absolutely lovely. Every detail is well thought out, super fresh and clean, and top-notch. I was a little worried that the home would be too small but was so impressed with the perfect use of space. I had the opportunity to see many other homes in The Lookout while there, as there were several of us staying for my niece's wedding. Although most were larger, none of them were as beautiful as where we stayed, at Chances R. The indoor and outdoor flow was amazing. Thank you to the homeowners for sharing this exceptional place! We will definitely be back!!!

What an amazing place to getaway from the city life & soak up the snow-capped landscape in lovely Chelan, Wa. No better place to stay than in this beautifully decorated & impeccably clean vacation home. Thank you for creating such a space for our perfect weekend!
