Maison Rouge

Welcome to Maison Rouge, the first and most central house at The Lookout at Lake Chelan!

Location, Location, Location. Sitting just across from The Lookout’s central park, Maison Rouge is a stone’s through from all that The Lookout has to offer. Just across the street is a large park like setting with a swimming pool, hot tub, expansive grass lawn, kids’ playground, pickle ball court and gas fire pits. Relax on the front porch and enjoy an early morning cup of coffee or take in the sunset over Lake Chelan. Just across the street is a large outdoor fireplace with plenty of seating for friends to gather at the end of the day and enjoy their favorite wine or make s’mores. This house is the ideal location!

Room for All. With 4 bedrooms and 3 ½ bathrooms, Maison Rouge comfortably sleeps 10 people. The master bedroom is conveniently located on the main floor and includes a large 5-piece master bathroom. The two bedrooms on the second floor have their own private bathrooms and provide all the amenities you would expect to make your stay enjoyable. Also on the second floor, the bunk room has two twin size bunk beds and a media/game center. The property has plenty of room for a group of families, but at the same time does not feel too large for a single family.

Unparalleled Amenities. Your vacation in Chelan should be luxurious! The house is appointed with plush amenities that will make the difference in your Chelan stay. Each room has a TV for you to enjoy your favorite shows via multiple streaming services, or you can gather in the family room and watch your favorite movies on the 65” TV. Other amenities include an outdoor patio area with a dining area and chaise lounges, a private hot tub with massage jets where you can take in the stars above, Adirondack chairs to relax on the wrap around porch, Bluetooth sound, high-speed internet, a gas fireplace, a fully loaded kitchen, a kids’ Media area/game room complete with Flat Screen TV and Xbox and a secret “kid’s cave” for the younger vacationers to enjoy. The kitchen provides you with all the coffee options, including a Keurig, Nespresso and a regular coffee maker for your morning boost!

Dogs are allowed at Maison Rouge. Maximum of 2 dogs, 70 pounds or less, crate sleeper, potty trained. NO Puppies.

The Lookout community is growing and there may be construction activity during your stay. Construction hours vary by season but will fall between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and weekends. Please contact the Lookout Cottage Rentals at with any questions or concerns.

Ideal location between downtown Chelan and Manson with a great layout for multiple adults traveling together. Spacious living room, plent of dining space inside and out, and a well equipped kitchen. Having a primary bedroom as well as 2 mini bedroom onsuites upstairs gave all of the adults plenty of spave and separation when needed. The kids bunkbed room was used for some TV watching since the one other TV in the living room had some weird Samsung TV app without live TV. The few maintenance issues were taken care of same day. Only critique is the fickleness of the keyless entry locks. The front and back door worked differently as to how to initiate locking / unlocking. Only once were we able to get the backdoor to unlock.

Great little house with all the amenities you’d need for a fun few days away. 3 bedrooms with their own bathrooms were key to our group being comfortable. We also loved the different seating options of the wrap around deck and hanging out in the hot tub or walking around the neighborhood. Fabulous location and very comfortable home.

Location was incredible and we very much enjoyed all of the outdoor seating. Home had everything that we needed (except coffee?) and the kids loved the bunk room with secret nook. We only had a few issues. The first is that there was a horrible smell in the laundry room. Perhaps the air gap from the utility sink? Either way, it stunk even after we tried to flush it. The other issue was that the bunk room was very warm, and every time we tried to use the AC unit, it blew a fuse and the breaker shut down. This was extremely frustrating as the refrigerator was on the same circuit, so when it happened at night, we woke up to everything melted in the freezer and warm food. The master bed was a little hard for our old bones, so perhaps something additional can be added to the mattress? Overall, we all had a blast and look forward to visiting again.

The Lookout area is delightful for families! The area is so well kept and has a nice playground as well as pools, hot tubs, grassy area and nice landscape and sidewalks. Our house, Maison Rouge, was well equipped in the kitchen as well as the closet - games, snow slides, and even a baby gate for the stairs. The "kids space" was very fun, even including a "secret hide-away" attic space. It was very clean. We enjoyed it very much.

All in all, a delightful stay in a very pleasant well appointed home. Love the location and it's amenities, as did my 13 and 10 yearly grand children. Would love to visit The Lookout, Maison no. 23 again!

Excellent home with comfortable beds, many bathrooms, enough appliances/utensils in the kitchen to make your own meals, and very close access to all the wonderful attractions around the property. We enjoyed many hours in the pool, playing bocce and swinging on the swings. We loved our stay and can't wait to go back.

Our experience was fantastic at this home! The kitchen was stocked w everything we needed. The house was in a prime location across the street from the park and pool. Every bed in the home is King- sized too! (Except the bunk room which is super cool for kids!) Very cozy home w lots of room for a group or family. We would definitely stay here again!

This is our 3rd year at The Lookout and you can't beat this location! The beds are super comfortable and I love that they are all king beds! The bbq was in super bad shape so we brought it up to management and they immediately set up a brand new one for us

My 5 friends and I had the best time staying at Maison Rouge! We normally stay in a few hotel rooms and get to share a hot tub/pool area with the entire hotel, including children. It was so nice for us to have our own hot tub just steps from the front door. I’ve never had such a relaxing stay in Chelan. So thankful my friends and I decided to branch out and try somewhere new. We’ll definitely be back next year!

We had a wonderful time at Maison Rouge for a winter weekend getaway from Seattle. Highlights of the trip include: snow tubing at Echo Valley, hot tubing at Maison Rouge, and snowball fights in the park. The house had everything we needed - including a couple of robes to wear out to the hot tub (particularly useful when it was so cold outside at night). Thanks for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home and making it pet friendly so Rosco could come too!

This was our second stay at Maison Rouge and we love this house. Its right across from the park so the kids could run around as we relaxed at the house. There is a surprising amount of room, and the kids love the bunk beds. We grilled, we hot-tubbed, we relaxed on the deck, we rode the bikes, we swam at the pool, and we walked up the street for sunset bocci ball.

We felt like we were staying a high-end resort. So many family activities: swimming in pools, pickle ball, bocce ball, badmitten, play group area with slides and protected beach on the lake! All all spread out so you felt like you had all the privacy you needed. The highlight was the Happy Hour and appetizers on Saturday! Which was kid friendly so the whole family could enjoy this activity!

We had a five star vacation at the Lookout staying in Maison Rouge. We loved being so close to the pool, pickle ball court and outdoor fireplace to roast marshmallows. The kids absolutely loved the secret space just for them off their bedroom. They spent many hours in there watching movies and playing video games. We adults loved the porch especially those who were early risers. We all can’t wait to come back again next year!

We stayed with our kids and my brother in law's family. We all had a great time. The Maison Rouge was comfortable and very clean. It is also located right across from the pool, public hot tub, pickle ball court, 2 fire pits, kids play set, and grass activity area. The area as a whole had lots of activities for our family. We had a blast!

We booked this home to celebrate my birthday and my family and I had a wonderful stay! It’s such a cozy home! Loved the Paris theme! Had all the amenities. Very close to the pool and trails. It was a great experience! We are a family of 6 with 4 kids and it was perfect!
