Welcome to One More Minute at The Lookout!

Your home away from home, One More Minute is a three-story, 3,020 square foot home featuring 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and one of the largest private backyards in the Lookout.

One More Minute is the perfect fit for those wanting a vacation home that checks all the boxes, full of beautiful spaces both inside and out. With luxury finishes like quartz countertops, LED smart televisions in all bedrooms, media room, and great room, and a gigabit fiber internet/WIFI network to power all devices, you’ll enjoy spending time indoors while still enjoying views out of almost any window. Start your day with a cup of coffee or end your day with a glass of wine on the outdoor decks or patio of each floor, outfitted with comfortable seating and eating areas. You’ll enjoy gorgeous up-lake views overlooking the expansive and beautifully landscaped yard with multiple seating areas, a private hot tub and pergola, a gas grill, an outdoor dining area, and a fire pit. Fully fenced, this backyard is great for relaxing with friends while letting little ones explore, and with custom lighting, is as beautiful in the evenings as it is all day.

The third floor consists of two primary bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The first bedroom has a king bed facing up the lake for the best views, a smart TV, and an attached deck to enjoy your morning coffee, along with an en-suite bathroom with two sinks, a shower, and a separate bathtub. The second master on this floor has a queen bed, smart TV, and en-suite bathroom with shower/tub combo.

The main floor features an entryway perfect for shedding and storing pool and outdoor gear. Off the entry is a high-end kitchen with premium appliances and lighting. Stocked with every tool/gadget and small appliance a chef could need, this kitchen is suitable for preparing everything from a quick breakfast to a Thanksgiving meal. The great room has a smart TV with cable and plenty of lounging space for all guests. The dining table seats 8 comfortably and the bar has additional seating for 4. Doors off the main floor lead to the main deck, complete with a ceiling fan, a table for 4, and comfortable seating. This open floor plan allows everyone to make memories together while providing separate spaces for watching TV, preparing meals, putting together puzzles, or napping in the sun.

The lower floor features two bedrooms, a media room with a queen sleeper sofa, a twin sleeper sofa, a smart TV with cable, a DVD player, Xbox One, various games, books, a laundry room, and a shared bathroom. The first bedroom has custom built-in bunks with an XL twin over a queen bed and a 43-inch TV. The second bedroom has a king bed and smart TV and French doors that open out onto the patio area.

Though you’ll never want to leave One More Minute, it’s just a short walk to two community pools, a playground, a playfield, a pickleball court, a large outdoor stone fireplace, a community grill, Vin Du Lac winery, the private marina, and lakefront area. The Lookout provides a shuttle service to the marina and lakefront during the spring and summer months. Downtown Lake Chelan is a short walk.

Pets and smoking are not allowed. Although One More Minute does not accept pets, on occasion, the owner’s non-shedding dog stays in this home.

The Lookout community is growing and there may be construction activity during your stay. Construction hours vary by season but will fall between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and weekends. Please contact Lookout Cottage Rentals at with any questions or concerns.

One More Minute was a perfect size and layout for our group of 9 people (3 of which were small children). It was very clean and the furnishings were well appointed and comfortable. The outdoor space was beautiful, though the firepit did not work, and though we called about it, someone showed up with a long handled lighter the next day, and said they would send someone the following day to check into it further. That person never came so we were unable to use the firepit for the entire stay and that was disappointing. The hot tub was clean and functioning, but there were four sockets without covers with rusty wires protruding that concerned us when the children were in it. The pots and pans provided were pretty dismal; scratched up and some with wobbly handles. Otherwise the kitchen was well equipped (although it would have been nice to have a small amount of foil and a few zip locks to start us out). Outdoor and Indoor towel supplies were great and toilet paper was well stocked. Beds were comfortable and all bedrooms had TVs, which was nice, but the interface was a bit wonky and hard to figure out on all of them. All in all a good stay with only a few improvements suggested and disappointment with the hot tub situation since we specifically were looking for a house with a hot tub.

We rented One More Minute for a long weekend in November. It was colder than usual and there was snow on the ground but that did not dampen our fun. We enjoyed the community pool and hot tub each day. The private hot tub with the house has an amazing view of the lake and hills. The house was spacious, extremely comfortable and well-stocked. The Lookout staff were very attentive and helpful. We can't wait to stay here again.

We loved staying at the Lookout with our family and kids- its the perfect spot for families. The facilities at the place are amazing- the pools,the beach, the staff, and the weekend activities are just so great to have with small kids. The house itself was really great, but for the price I do think needs a few updates. The hot tub was not hot enough, and I believe this is an issue because someone else left this review. The dishwasher was very unreliable, and likely needs to be replaced. It also could use an upgrade on things like pillows. But besides that, the house itself was very clean, the layout was amazing for our two families, and we fully enjoyed the stay. We walked around and would say that this properties location is one of the very best- the view was superb. We will be booking again!!

We spent 4 glorious days at this lovely home. Well equipped with all of the cooking supplies we needed. Great setting for grilling with an awesome view. Our three year old loved the proximity to pool. Loved to sit on one of the three porches and look out on the lake. Stayed cool and comfortable even on the 100 degree days. Will certainly be back!

The staff was super friendly, everything was clean when we arrived. Close to town and bakeries! Shuttle service to the lake was always available. I would only hesitate to recommend this home due to it's price, quite exorbitant for one family.

We had a great stay at Egg N Us! We had 7 adults, 3 kids and it was more than enough space. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking. Pans, pots, crockpots and extra plug in skillets. There were enough towels throughout the house even kitchen towels. No zip lock bags but enough tupperware to store food. We brought extra laundry soap, paper towels and Lysol for cleaning which came in handy. I’m sure you could ask the management company for these things. We also brought our dog. The backyard has a short fence but was great for our Mini Aussie and the front room was a good spot for her crate. The pool was a short walking distance. Overall was great and we definitely will be back next year.

We needed a few days away and some change of scenery and rented the house with 1 other family (total of 4 adults and 3 kids). The house couldn't have been more perfect for our families. Great lower level for the kids, amazing living space with deck and views up lake and 2 masters upstairs. We had an absolutely AMAZING time and would rent the house again in a heartbeat!

Great design for shared space (especially perfect for 2 medium sized families) but would have been helpful to know that there were no Ziploc type bags (just foil and plastic wrap) for storing leftovers. We've stayed at 3 other Lookout homes over the last year and all had these amenities so we just assumed that we'd be covered. :-) I'm fine if the owners intentionally want to reduce waste but it would be nice to have that detail listed under house description/amenities. Also ran out of napkins (only had about 20 to start), paper towels, and soap for dishwasher and washing machine by the second day. We called and asked for more but a house that sleeps 12 should be better equipped with cleaning supplies. I would recommend this house to others as long as these issues were addressed. Thanks!

We had a fabulous vacation with our family and close friends. This house was the perfect backdrop to summer fun for 4 boys and 4 adults. We found everything we needed and wanted from cooking to fire pit and hot tub time. The house was comfortable and gave us plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the time.

Was an amazing and relaxing experience. The house was perfect, great for large families or small groups. Loved that their was 2 rooms on the top floor and 2 rooms on the bottom, great for 2 small families. The fully fenced yard is great for pets and loved that the grill and fire pit were gas which made it easy and convenient. Will be staying again.

Was surprised to find this gem just before New Years and spent a few days there with immediate family. Community is well curated and close to DT Chelan and nearby wineries. It snowed while we were there and the beach areas were closed but kept its Winter charm.

The house is well decorated, well stocked with all your usual needs throughout. Backyard is private with charming gas firepit and a hot tub (with gorgeous unobstructed view).

The only things that weren't as advertised were (1) thermostat capped at 70F when instructions said it should've gone up to 85F... not a big deal but the basement was much colder than the upper floors; (2) the snow in the backyard covered some unpleasant surprises left by previous pets. Again, not a huge deal either way and certainly didn't ruin our stay.

Would highly recommend and consider returning in the future.

Great location, spacious home and clean. There's a kuerig but no k-cups? Leave more than enough washer and dishwasher detergent. We ran out. Worried that people will take them? How petty is that. Lots of employees around the development but no one is picking up dog poop in the parks?

It is a beautiful home with a lot of areas to have fun. Enjoyed the hot tub but could not get it to heat over 100 degrees. Loved spending time in the backyard. It was also very cold downstairs and it did not get warm when we turned heat up. Guest had to use several blankets to keep warm while sleeping downstairs. Beautiful kitchen and family area with plenty of space.

We had 4 generations of family at the Egg N Us and all found the weekend to be relaxing and fun. The fenced in yard in back was great for the under 3 crowd and the location ideal for a neighborhood walk.

We loved the house itself, it was very clean and the kitchen and seating areas were large and functional. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub and the great location of the property! Property management team was prompt and professional and we would love to come back again some day!

The home is very clean and comfortable, and the outdoor spaces are perfect
for enjoying Chelan with family and friends. The two things that should be improved are:
1) the sleeper sofas are absolutely terrible; they are about two inches high and full of hard wire, and should not be considered as beds.
2) there are plenty of kitchen cabinets, but they are full of too many large platters, bowls, pans, etc., so there isn't room for guests' food

We stayed with a few other families and loved our stay! The location and the layout of the house was wonderful and it was fully stocked with everything we needed! Biggest complaint was that the entrances into the home (front porch and back entrance) were not cleared of snow and they were VERY dangerous. The overhang on the front porch was constantly dripping water and would freeze overnight and it became quite treacherous.

Love this house! Second year we’ve stayed here. Only issue is there are no blackout shades and the bedrooms are light as day about 5:30am so our group was up early every morning. Love it otherwise!

This house has a ton of room, great view, huge yard that overlooks the lake and vineyard. It is well laid out with a perfect set up for two families (2BR up/ 2 BR down). There are also many indoor and outdoor areas to eat / entertain. It’s a brief walk to the pool / play area. Would definitely stay here again.

We really liked the house, the back terrace, the community and its amenities, and the proximity to Chelan and Manson. Also, the owner and property managers were great to work with. We definitely hope to return.
