Welcome to Rest Day! We are the ideal Chelan vacation home.

Rest Day is the original Chelan floor plan. Comfortably sleeping 13 people, with three bedrooms and three and a quarter bath. Comfortable with an open feel, it is perfect for your family's getaway to the lake.

Sitting at the top of Porcupine Lane, we were the second house built and the first
true owners at the Lookout. Our home is a stone throw away from the outdoor pool and hot tub and our favorite spot….. the Bocce ball court. Sandy Wine is a mere 50 steps away from the outdoor fire pit and fireplace, pickle ball court, kids’ playground and Lookout Park. Sit back and relax on our wrap-around patio with Adirondack chairs and enjoy a glass of vino while watching some incredible sunsets.

Rest Day is appointed with plush amenities and technology that will make your stay in Chelan feel like home…..

Dogs are not allowed at Rest Day. Although this home does not accept pets, on occasion, the owner’s pet stays at this home

The Lookout community is growing and there may be construction activity during your stay. Construction hours vary by season but will fall between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and weekends. Please contact the Lookout Cottage Rentals with any questions or concerns.

(This is the 2nd review -- what happened to the 1st one I wrote?) The Rest Day Cottage at Chelan Lookout was a very comfortable spot, though it's not as spacious as it looks in the photos, & the media/bunk room had no bunk beds & fewer sleeping spots than expected. Nevertheless, the house fit all 10 of us nicely, & it was clean & well maintained, & close by many outdoor activities such as the pools & bocce ball & pickleball courts. For any service issues, the office was quick to respond. Everyone had a wonderful time during our stay. The Lookout is really a great place for any gathering of friends & family.

What a perfect house for us and our 4 kids. Plenty of space, plenty of bathrooms, unbeatable location! Owners had everything we needed and clearly have excellent taste in music too! Would definitely recommend!

Had a great time at Rest Day - great option for 2 families, steps from the pool and play area, easy shuttle ride down to marina to play and jet ski, grilled burgers, chilled in the hot tub and relaxed as much as 2 families with 4 little kids can relax in Chelan! Only 1 suggestion: Find some smaller arm chairs for the living room (those giant arm chairs took up a lot of space). Thanks for a great stay!

We loved staying at this house in the adorable neighborhood! There was so much room for us and our 6 kids. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the house stayed warm and cozy even with the outside temps in the 20’s. The neighborhood was so fun to walk around, with gorgeous views of the hills and lake. The houses in the neighborhood were beautiful and charming. We will definitely come stay here again in the future! We had such a good time.

Super cute house with everything you need!! The beach area could be bigger. As the development continues, it will not accommodate guests for the entire development. The management office was training multiple people (young girls) when I called. They were not able to answer most of my basic questions. Hopefully, they get them trained sooner than later. This house is clean, cute, and everything was in working order. We had an issue with the grill not working and they came to fix immediately!

Enjoyed this home very much. Perfect location. Hope to return next year. House was clean, nice porches, comfortable furniture , seemed private even though houses were all around. Sunlight hit the house at different times during the day. Kitchen very well equipped. Plenty of counter space and the bar stools were great. The big farm table was awesome for meals, puzzles, etc. TVs everywhere but we didn't turn them on. Too much to do! A few suggestions: Level the refrigerator so the door shuts properly. Check the shower fixture thing on the spout in the upstairs full bedroom. It didn't stay up during the shower. Install mirrors in the bedrooms upstairs so when someone is in the bathroom, the other person can use a mirror in the bedroom to get ready for the day.

We enjoyed and very relaxing weekend at Rest Day. Great neighborhood location close to the park, pool, hot tub, and fire pit. Beautiful, clean neighborhood with views of the lake, mountains, and minutes from downtown Chelan. I highly recommend this getaway!

The location was great and it was near both Chelan and Manson. The community of newly built homes had a neighborhood feel with many amenities to entertain. This host was very helpful and accommodating. I'll definitely be coming back when visiting the area.

Great home, has everything you would need. Close to town, easy check in process. Sleeps 11 comfortably. Any more and you are on the couch in the living room, which is fine for kids. Definitely would recommend.

Overall this rental is great, plenty of rooms with comfortable beds and each room with their own TV. The house had all the amenities to cook your own meals with except measuring spoons. Only complaint I had is that the fire alarm randomly went off two times the first night, waking all 4 kids. Maybe it needs to be cleaned.
