Chinook

Chinook is a 3 story home with 3 bedrooms with sleeping loft and 3 bathrooms, plus an additional Carriage House. This is an ideal home for hosting a large family or group of friends, with comfortable sleeping arrangements and dining areas for 8 to 10 people. Enjoy breakfast in the kitchen nook, group dinners at the large dining table, or outdoor dining with a BBQ grill, patio, and wrap-around porch.

You’ll find the kitchen stocked with all the tools, appliances, and dishes you need to prepare and enjoy a simple or elaborate meal, depending on your mood. Ample seating for all in the Great Room on the first floor makes for a perfect gathering place in the evenings for entertaining or watching movies on the TV.

The third floor has both a sleeping area with two twin beds as well as a separate game/media room with sofa, chairs, TV, Blu-Ray player, foosball table, and lots of books, movies, and board games for the whole family to enjoy. WiFi access is available throughout the house.

The carriage house has a queen bed, 3/4 bathroom, table and two chairs, flat screen TV, and a breakfast bar with sink, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, dishes, cups, glasses, and silverware.

At Chinook, you can step outside immediately onto the adjacent mini-park with lawn and swing set, cross the street to the bocce ballpark, or continue across Jackrabbit Lane to Lookout Park where you can enjoy the outdoor pool, spa, clubhouse, pickle ball court, and large open playfield. The event park and vineyard pool are just a short walk away. All this plus beach-front access to Lake Chelan makes this the perfect vacation getaway during any season of the year.

Dogs are allowed at Chinook. Maximum of 2 dogs, crate sleeper, potty trained. NO Puppies

Please NO Smoking at Chinook.

The Lookout community is growing and there may be construction activity during your stay. Construction hours vary by season but will fall between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and weekends. Please contact Guest Services with any questions or concerns.

This is a great house for a family. Very centrally located (a quick walk to the pool) and right near some grass and the swings -- which was perfect for the three-year-old. The kitchen was well-equipped. The beds are comfortable. The house was clean and the amenities were nice!

This was our first time to "The Lookout" and it was fantastic. Our house was perfect for our group size of 8 adults and 2 teenagers. The house was very well equipped, lots of towels and everything we needed to cook meals. Only negative thing, was our propane tank was empty on the grill and the main office was closed so we could not get a refill that day, when we had already been planning to grill for dinner. They did replace the tank the next morning though.

We rented both Chinook and Carriage House for 6 adults (2 couples and 2 singles), 3 kids, and 1 dog. The size was perfect. The kids loved the 3rd floor loft with games & toys and the swing set right outside the porch. Even with it right next door, it was really quiet inside. The house is one of the originals and doesn't have some of the modern or newer amenities, but it's by far still nicer & more comfortable than any normal homestay. The beds in the main house were comfortable. The sofa bed in the loft should be changed out though. Well appointed kitchen. The lake was too cold to swim, but we still took the door-to-door shuttle to play in the sand. The pools were perfect! I would recommend to friends.
