Hello Sunshine is offered to life-intensive people who appreciate quality, comfort, beauty and fun! This unique single-story ultra-contemporary home at The Lookout features a stunning up-lake view in the spring and winter, and a peek-a-boo view along with sun protection when the trees bloom out in the summer and fall.

Goodnight Moon is the brand new carriage house available in conjunction with Hello Sunshine. It’s the most private retreat at The Lookout, and adding Goodnight Moon to your visit expands the number of people who can enjoy a getaway and spoils the lucky couple who get to stay in it.

Distinctive to Hello Sunshine is the extravagantly large double-level deck to take full advantage of the Western exposure and panoramic view, ample outdoor seating and fire pit, and Koolfog ™ misting system to comfort you on hot, sunny days. Indoors, 20-foot vaulted ceilings and windows galore welcome the abundant sunshine and surroundings. One of the largest lots in The Lookout, Hello Sunshine’s lower patio embraces a privately situated deluxe hot tub with divine pulse massage and waterfall features and is the only home in the Lookout with a sauna.

Hello Sunshine sleeps 6, with three bedrooms featuring queen beds luxuriously appointed with Pottery Barn linens. The back bedrooms each have individual access to the deck and ensuite bathrooms, and all bedrooms have “hello have I died and gone to heaven” memory foam mattresses. Every room (great room and bedrooms) has a smart TV with cable and internet to allow for independent entertainment.

Luxurious fleece robes with custom monograms and super cute Hello Sunshine pool towels are available for your comfort and convenience.
Decorated and furnished with relaxation and beauty in mind, there is high-quality furniture, fine art and objects d’art throughout the home. Hello Sunshine would be a difficult home for small and curious children who may think these are toys to play with, which of course they are not.

Goodnight Moon is a private suite at an elevation that gives two special guests an even better view up the lake for an exclusive, “I deserve to be spoiled” experience. It boasts its own secluded deck for quiet moments enjoying your morning coffee or evening beverages. The oversize suite features a queen size bed (Ghost memory foam, no less), a couch, armoire and smart TV, a kitchenette with an under counter fridge, microwave and coffee machine, and a ‘3/4 bath. The same attention to detail extends from the main house to the carriage house, where you’ll enjoy more original artwork (not chosen to go-with-the-couch), ceramic dishware and serving pieces, and enough beautiful glassware to invite your friends from the main house to join you for happy hour. Or not. It is, after all, the most private retreat at The Lookout.

We are multi-generational family of 7 that thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our family, with the rental of the carriage house being an additional bonus.
The beds were so comfortable, and the kitchen was very well appointed.
The fire table, hot tub and sauna added to our enjoyment.
The staff at the Lookout is always so responsive and pleasant. This was our fourth stay at the Lookout and we definitely will return.
We happened on the Fall Festival that the Lookout sponsored, an unexpected surprise. Live music, wine tasting and so many games for the children and adults!!!!!

Nice location, sauna and hot tub were great, nice rooms and beds, kitchen and common area set up really well.

Internet was extremely inconsistent and at times < 1 mbps, usually between 5-10 mbps, and on rare occassions up to 40 or 50. Movies on their TV in the living room often froze/spinning and zoom wasn't usable. In 2024 having at least consistent basic internet is required, especially if the primary tv in home uses streaming

Owner had a padlocked cage in the kitchen with a bear and naked man doll locked inside it (With an actual padlock). Weird.

BBQ propane was out. Fortunately we found another canister in another appliance that we could swap in.

Beautiful view of the lake 90% blocked by trees (many houses facing the lake have that issue here)

We really like the convenience of being close to town, parks and groceries and that the Lookout had it's own Marina with boat/Jet Ski rentals. We loved the family & dog friendly feel of the neighborhood as well as the hot tub and ATV service option that takes guests (including dogs) down/up the steep path to the beach. The beach is nice with water trampolines as well a dedicated dog dock. The house was lovely w beautiful view, well stocked, clean with plenty of space and we really loved the deck and people mister and great air conditioning. Good Night Moon is a nice, comfortable, separate, well stocked retreat from the main house. There were a few minor issues with the house, though: The propane was low on the grill. The awning blows in the wind and makes noise at night,
The stove/oven has an issue where it doesn't get hot enough-- the setting of H/L are exactly the same heat. They likely installed wrong gas tips, the correct ones were inside a game box. (They had an electric skillet, instead.) The fridge ice maker did not work. (They have a mini icemaker, instead.) Cooking in the house is important; town has limited and very expensive restaurants. Extreme steep/narrow driveway and street parking is limited. No parking directly in front of the house. Folks with mobility issues will have a challenge in this property due to the steep nature of the driveway, property and many stairs, no railing on the front steps, slippery gravel path between steep driveway and home entrance. Getting to the upper pool/community park/café is a challenge due to extreme steep pathways and the neighborhood shuttle driver declined to go there when we asked. The movie theater amphitheater for the neighborhood is a little scary due to step cliff drop offs and no fencing so we did not use it. We would have liked to have access to the home's garage to store bikes/water toys but it was locked up and marked "private".

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lookout and everything the resort has to offer. The house was wonderful and accommodated our family perfectly. It was well stocked with everything needed for making meals for everyone. The furniture was lovely and comfortable. My only complaints were a couple area rugs that were easy to trip on and the outdoor furniture in the back. The dining table outside doesn’t leave a lot of room between the patio door and stairs. Had to be careful.

This rental was well stocked and comfortable. The washer was not working when we checked in but they had a technician come the next day the drier had an issue with dry times, so may need to be looked at.
It would have been nice to have another option for pillows in the master bedroom—- not a fan at all of the rock hard memory foam pillows.

Beautiful home, perfectly furnished and just so much space to relax. Catch the morning sun in the front and the afternoon sun in the back. If you don’t like sun there was plenty of covered area on the large back deck. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the home had so much room for us to spread out or even sit all together. Loved the decor and the comedic signs throughout the home. The view of the vineyard and the lake was just so peaceful. We would definitely stay here again.

The location is great, the house was very nice, but the stove and the oven had some issues that was resolved. The Wi-Fi was a big issue, didn't work and we have to way until Saturday afternoon to be resolved (we arrived on Wednesday)
